Do you know the Shuk HaCarmel in Tel-Aviv?
It's a marvelous and colorful market, and one of the highlights of Tel Aviv. Next August, L'Atelier de l'Hébreu (the Parisian course founded 5 years ago by Roni Geffen) offers you a gastronomic tour of the Shouk HaCarmel lasting 2h30. It is the perfect place to practice Hebrew as it is spoken in Israel. This new concept, called Le Marché de l'Hebreu, includes tastings in the market's most secret and tastiest places.
Along with the visit, we offer you a learning experience which will allow you to do your shopping in Hebrew! You will be able to tell the vendors which fruits and vegetables you want to buy and maybe even negotiate a little on the price :). You can meet Israeli vendors, hear the history of the market and the Kerem Hatemanim neighborhood, and see the market from the inside.
